The buildings on our lot are open for inspection all the time during daylight hours for viewing independently. Helen is on premise 8:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. Countryside Portable Buildings has many buildings already built for you to view and see exactly what you purchase, at their location. If you’d like to order the building in a different color or materials or you’d like to add options such as shutters, extra windows, door with a window, etc. Countryside Portable Buildings will assist you with that. Countryside is offering a free gift with ANY building purchased from their Portage display location (while supplies last).

Absolutely! You can customize dimensions, colors, siding (Lp, metal, or vinyl) roofing (shingles or metal), windows-add, subtract or change sizes, doors-add subtract, porches-4′ or 6′, and interior – add walls or lofts.

North Star Portable Buildings is located in Athens, Wisconsin. They can deliver your order in 4 – 6 weeks, with some exceptions. Buildings in inventory can be delivered sooner.

We recommend a level site the footprint of your building. If the ground is not solid/stable we recommend placing at least 4″ of gravel- compact it to create a base that will not allow your building to “settle”. If you choose you can also have a concrete pad.

No, the price is the same.

Floor joists are 2×4. Skids are 4×6. In a standard floor they are spaced 16″ on center. Garages and heavy duty floors the joists are spaced 12″ on center. You can up grade to 2×6 floor joists for an additional fee.

No. North Star Portable Buildings will deliver, set up, and level the building-with your materials- on your prepared- level- site on a date agreed upon by the purchaser and North Star Portable Buildings. Countryside Portable Buildings has compiled a referral list of site prep companies for our clients – please ask if you are interested.

North Star Portable Buildings will unload the truck as close to the site as possible. It will then be navigated onto the site, leveled, and set up by the driver using a machine designed for moving portable buildings. This is often referred to as a Mule.

In some instances, North Star is able to do on site building. Please contact us with your idea and we can see if we can make it a reality. 608-697-8469

North Star Portable Buildings will move your building for a fee.

Currently have an old structure you want to get rid of to place a new building in the same spot? Northstar and Countryside do not remove old buildings, but we can refer you to a few people who will remove your structure for a fee.
